If you are thinking about an IVA

An IVA is a legally binding agreement to pay part of what you owe over usually five or six years. It suits some people and not others, and the provider is paid from your payments. Before you agree to one with any firm, read how IVA companies make money and compare the alternatives to an IVA. Free advice is always available.
