Whoever sent them, the rules are the same

Enforcement agents must give at least 14 clear days’ notice, cannot force entry for most debts, cannot take essentials, and can only charge the fees set by law. Bailiffs: your rights and the bailiff fee checker.

My Debt Cleared is independent and is not connected with any company listed here. We cannot see or change your account. Firm details come from public sources including the FCA register, Companies House and the firms’ own websites; check them yourself before acting. Spotted something out of date? Tell us.

Common questions

Who are the bailiffs chasing me?

Your notice of enforcement names the enforcement company and the creditor. Find the company in the A–Z above.

Are bailiffs regulated?

Enforcement agents must be certificated by the County Court, and the Enforcement Conduct Board accredits enforcement firms and handles complaints about accredited firms.

Can I stop bailiffs coming?

Contact the firm and the creditor before the notice period ends and agree an affordable arrangement. A free debt adviser can ask for the notice period to be extended to at least 28 clear days.
